Terribly sorry about that

You know I love you. Right?

Right.

Well, I’m terribly sorry about that Really Long Time with no words.

I’m also somewhat intrigued that advertisements that target young, successful young women tend to put them either in ‘power suits’ and board rooms (filled with men) or in a home full of children, while adverts targeted at successful young men have them driving their motorcyles or truks. Or possibly sexing things up at the local club with some floozy. I see this in shampoo commercials. Weird.

My favourite advert is the one for the Subaru Forester where a half dozen sumo wrestlers get all sexy washing the thing. It makes me happy *every time I see it*.

Fire in the disco!I love that commercial. It’s fairly old tho, and I’m glad they didn’t get rid of it.My fav part is the shot from inside the vehicle with the one sumo rubbing his belly up against it.You just KNOW they wanted it to be his ass, but someone said ‘Yeah well, but someone might get offended!’ Sure a sumo rubbing his ass against a window is bad, but a half naked woman selling rice is ok.WV is hothron! HEHEHEHEH.

I think PETA has some marketers that are ahead of the curve. It may have been banned for reasons various and sundry…but they WANTED it to be banned. Then it goes to You Tube and goes viral. Way more exposure than SuperBowl…often repeated…and for millions less than buying the airtime.“Word of mouth” for 8 Billion.

Personally I think the Peta folks are several steps into the crazy lane.Yeah they used the ‘sexiness’ of the commercial to ban it but it was totally because of the politics of Peta. Man I’m hittin’ the WV jackpot. calinga! :)
