Mid-February

In honouring the worst day of the goddamned year, let me just say that this coming Saturday pisses me off simply because it exists.

If you can’t tell people how much they matter to you *every single day*, you don’t deserve to have friends.

Stick *that* in your craw and choke on it.

It would have been nice to have been thought of. But then, that goes for pretty much every day of my erstwhile marriage, and not just the hallmark ones.

    Melistress – thanks.Cori – you’re not missing anything. In fact, I’m a little jealous.

I have never had a mid-February, in the same way that I have never had an anniversary.

Yes, wouldn’t it be nice if none of us ever needed any commemorative days to recognize anything. No one would need Remembrance day, Xmas, Easter, family day, anniversaries, birthdays or any holiday or designated date on the calender to stop running around and think of someone else or something else. Yes, let’s make every day “special”. Barf. Some people like valentine’s day and maybe it’s the only time they get any notice by someone else. That may be pathetic to you, but how does it really affect you? If one person has a slightly better day because someone else gave them something on a designated day, why get your knickers in a knot about it?Plus the 15th brings discount chocolate and candy. Get some perspective, crankypuss!Hearts and flowers and snuggles and smoochy-woochies!From,Road Rage
